(September 2014) — Ford Next Generation Learning community recognized Spiro & Associates for its ongoing leadership and commitment in support of The School District of Lee County and The Foundation for Lee County Public Schools. The recognition came at an event that celebrated Ford Motor Company Fund designating Lee County as a Ford NGL community.

Ford Next Generation Learning initiative sponsored by the Ford Motor Company focuses on boosting student performance and readiness for college and careers using a career-themed academy model. Spiro & Associates is one of the business leaders in the region that partners with the school district on a number of activities over the years that assist students in preparing for college and careers. The agency holds ongoing career-related educational seminars and hands-on activities at its office for students enrolled in the STEM@Work program, among a number of other educational projects. Spiro & Associates has also been a partner in the district’s Teacher Immersion program that helps to connect what is being taught in the classroom to what students will need in the workforce.
