(Jan. 11, 2017) — Spiro & Associates is proud to partner with American Cancer Society of Lee County Cattle Baron’s Ball 2017 with a sponsorship of a “Cattle Can” of goodies for 9-year-old “M.V.” who is fighting an eye tumor.

cattle-barons-ball-lynseyWe’ve filled the Cattle Can with many of the wonderful things that bring joy to M.V.’s world.

She is into fashion and design, loves arts and crafts, and plays “dress-up like a princess” as well as computer games. She likes anything pink, and stuffed animals are also a quick way to her heart. M.V. also likes to play pranks and be silly — something we are also very good at, so we included some items to cover that as well!

Cattle Baron’s Ball at The Ranch

cattle-can-cattle-barons-ballCattle Cans will be available as part of the Silent Auction during the big 2017 Cattle Baron’s Ball on Saturday, Jan. 21, at The Ranch Concert Hall & Saloon in Fort Myers.

The night’s festivities begin at 6 p.m. and include western-themed games, silent and live auctions, a gourmet dinner and fabulous live entertainment.

The silent auction is a unique portion of the @CattleBaronsLee event that gives right back to our community. Cancer patients, both young in age and young at heart, are thrilled to be awarded these cans after a bidder wins.

The event is American Cancer Society’s biggest fundraiser of the year. The goal is to raise $325,000 to fund various services for cancer patients, survivors and families.

American Cancer Society

For more than a 100 years, the American Cancer Society has been leading the fight to end cancer. With the public’s support, the Society has helped usher in an era where more people survive cancer than ever before. By translating research findings into action, the Society seen a 20 percent decline in U.S. cancer death rates since the early 1990s.

If you, too, are interested in helping the American Cancer Society finish the fight against cancer, visit their Southern Roots and Cowboy Boots website.
