The Challenge

Progressive Builders Inc. celebrated its 25th year in business in Fort Myers, offering customized residential remodeling services to homes throughout Southwest Florida during both the boom times and the economic down turn. Company founder, president and third-generation building contractor Michael R. Spreckelmeier is a state-licensed building inspector and general contractor. Michael credits his company’s success to the fundamentals of attentive customer service, warranty assurances for the quality of his work and his openness to finding improvement in all phases of his work both from his customers and his employees. With a goal to raise the bar in providing services to a higher level of clientele and elevate his brand, Michael searched for the right team to evolve his company’s brand. The Solution

After a thorough review of where Michael’s company should be positioned, and researching his competition, the Brand Architects at Spiro determined the objectives and requirements for the structure of the evolved brand. From there, we developed the specifications of a marketing strategy to position Progressive Builders as the first choice for potential customers in higher-end communities. The Agency’s design requirements would update the look and feel of the company’s image to bring it into the 21st century, creating a cleaner, higher-profile logo, new positioning line, brochure, website and print ad campaign. The Agency also created full wraps for the company’s fleet of vehicles to economically extend the exposure of the brand. Other materials were also created as part of the overall rebranding package to clearly establish Progressive Builders as the best choice for its target market. To finalize construction plans, the Agency also executed ongoing public relations activities, blogging, social media marketing to promote Progressive Builders.
